Thank god you got to pt. At least you feel better now!!! I had alot of fights with my mother which always seemed to end up with my mom taking away my cell phone and my going out priviledges ohh and yea my car keys. And all I did was talk back to her, I never cursed at her. Fighting with your mom really sucks. I'm sure she didn't mean to say those things to you. She needs to learn to control her temper. Good luck with having the guy fix it! I'm young too so if ya ever need to vent I'm here to talk!

We rent out house. I did stop by the hairdressers (I'm a frequent dyer there) and she was able to wash out the shampoo--which took like 15 minutes.
I also was able to make it to PT, my therapist said she would stay late so I could come which was nice of her. Going there made me feel better.Leave a comment:

Thanks. I do get a lot of anger taken out on me unfairly. I know my mom has stress at work (she teaches 4th grade and has a hard class) but I don't see why I have to pay for her sucky students. She gets really nitpicky if she is having a bad day. Most of the time I try to just stay out of her path. That's why I was miffed about missing PT. I really felt bad when I read your post. I have forgotten how old you are. I can't imagine why your mom got mad enough to call you those horrible names, and to throw a mirror at you simply because the hot water heater isn't working. It's not like you did anything to it, and you certainly didn't deserve that kind of reaction.
I'm really sorry that this happened to you. It sounds as if your mom has something else that is bothering her and she took it out on you. I'm so sorry! I hope things get better around there soon. It certainly doesn't sound like a very 'healing' enviornment.

Hot water heater issues
So I go to take a shower at 3 30. I turn the water on and it's cold. I shave my legs waiting for it to heat up (took about 3 minutes to shave). I hop in the shower and it's even COLDER THAN BEFORE! I turn the water off. Wait about 10 minutes. Hop in again. Still cold, but I manage to lather up my hair. While doing so, I turn off the water to save what heat is left. I turn it on to rinse and it's like I'm rinsing my hair with water that came from the arctic ocean! So, since I am somewhat of a sissy (alothough you would have gotten out too) I got out of the shower--soap in hair and went to find my mom (who was outside).
Told her what happened. That we didn't have any hot water. That I DIDN'T let the water run too long. And that I kept telling her this but she hasn't done anything (the water hasn't been cooperative for quite some time). So she flips her lid and starts wailing on me about this and that--some of which has NOTHING to do with the water. Like I am an ungreatful b***h and an a** ***e. That was being said after we got into the house. The screaming fight lasted about...oh, 45 minutes. During which words were said and a mirror was thrown.
I am now POed beyond reason. My scalp feels like it is on fire because I have no hot water to rinse with and the shampoo has like set in my hair. I am cranky because I am missing my PT appointment. And I'm even angrier for being yelled at, called names, and having a mirror thrown at me by my mother.
Our family has a long history of...anger, I guess is what you would call it. Both my mom and I have the same nasty temper as my grandfather. However, over the years hers has gotten worse because of my IC and stress. Mine has gotten better. I have learned to deal with great amounts of stress rationaly BECAUSE of my IC and school and stuff.
I just wish that we could just chill out and not fight for once. And fix the flippin' water heater. As far as I know now, she has no plans to call anyone to come fix it.
Thanks a bunch for letting me rant. I really needed it.
