Woohoo Ronda:woohoo: If I can only find the money to afford to get there I'm up for it, lol. I haven't been swimming in soooo long! Have fun!

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

That's awesome! It is about time you caught a break! You definately deserve it! Hope you guys have fun splashing around.

We are getting a new one this year too. (Upgrading from the inflatable one since Collin is taller now. ) Collin's b-day is in 2 weeks, so I am taking him and his friends to the Amusement Park while Steve and our families put up the new pool to surprise him. I CANT WAIT!

I think it is great for us to have something we can do with the kids that isnt hard on joints and it is something we can do even when we dont feel great. (We can always lay on a float those days. )

I am so excited for you and the kiddos! :woohoo: Bet your water will be warmer than mine! But, that's Ky weather for ya! (They say if you dont like Ky weather, stick around b/c it will be different next week! )

Hope you guys have a great time!

          Hugs,
          Amy
