I am acting as interim manager of my local animal shelter. (which might explain why I haven't been here at ICN much lately,...can we say overloaded? Sheesh! -I used to have a life!)
There is a contest going on in which my shelter is participating. I live in a remote area with roughly 10,000 people in the entire county, and on the most part, people here don't see stray unclaimed dogs as a problem. (At least not a problem that a bullet wouldn't fix) We do our best to care for and adopt out our "guests" with very little funding or local support.
If you wouldn't mind, please give our shelter a vote!
