This pandemic is awful to deal with. I haven't been able to just "go shopping" or do any traveling because I'm very high risk. It's an entirely different life --- all over the world. I hope you're able to get home soon.

    Warm hugs,
    Donna

I definitely will! We're still here on the vacation, albeit unwillingly, bc my boyfriend tested positive for covid the day before we were to fly home. We're hoping to get home soon, hoping the next round of testing leaves us both negative. I'll look into this once we're settled at home

I also sometimes limit fluid intake for a few hours before a planned outing, but even on those days, I try to get in my six cups --- even if it means an extra bathroom trip or three at night. I haven't tried a patch for frequency --- if you opt to do it, please let us know how you do.

    Warm hugs,
    Donna

    Oxytrol patch for overactive bladder

    Hi everyone!
haven't been here in a few years bc my symptoms are mainly in remission. My main issue now is the overactive bladder. Several years ago I had the mesh bladder sling put in and that stopped my stress incontinence and also stopped much of my pain. I still have the frequent urination issue though. Thankfully it's not a problem at work, I can go as much as I need to. But I'm on the end of my vacation and I feel like my need to keep a bathroom nearby is a nuisance, despite reassurances to the contrary. I try to limit my fluid intake when I know we'll be going somewhere, and I watch what I drink. Yet there's still frequency.

Has anyone tried the oxytrol patches for frequency? Or does anyone have any other medication related things they've used to curb the urge? I exercise often, do my best to stay healthy and eat well, and I don't have incontinence anymore. I'm just tired of living in the bathroom.

    Thanks!
Working...
