    I should've picked a more discreet name.

First of all, I'd like to say to the IC Network.

Do you know what is in the solution being instilled? If it includes lidocaine or marcaine, I suggest you ask that it be instilled first, then instill the other ingredients. If it's DMSO, that can be painful --- it's not being used much any more --- and there are some side effects you can read about if you look at the DMSO forum posts.

I'm not knowledgeable about labor laws. I think it could help you if you could talk with someone who is familiar with the American Disabilities Act.

I do have a hint about the seat belt. If you pull the belt out so it's very loose, then clip a spring clothespin where the belt comes out above the window, it will hold the belt loose, but if there is an accident, the clothespin will pop off and you will have the protection of the lap belt.

I encourage you to look at some of the older posts on the forums to learn more about IC. And if you have questions, feel free to post.

    Sending healing wishes,
    Donna
