  • Bloat in lower abdomen

It has been so long since I’ve had a flare. I was out on htcz water pill before that beta blockers both have caused my Ic flares to return.
is a bloated lower abdomen a symptom of Ic? I am dehydrated I think it feels like you need to go but only drops abd the bladder cramping is horrible. I know some is pelvic floor too.
my blood pressure was 180/80 dizzy and trip to er I think it was the macrobid they put me on before I had a bladder test which turned out negative!
wbo knows the other blood meds I can’t take so I have to stay on htcz but I’m also trying exercise no sugars and grains hopefully that helps too.
I hate all of this driving me crazy and adding horrible anxiety
need to do more research again
thanks for the responses it’s good to talk to people who have had this.

There are other medications that can help with blood pressure --- I've been medicated for it for years. You mentioned sugars and grains --- neither is a real problem for me, within limits (I'm also diabetic), but salt has a real effect on my blood pressure.

It took me quite a while to find the most effective and safest blood pressure control for me --- but I finally did. It was very frustrating for me; I still take my blood pressure frequently at home --- fortunately my doctors accept the fact that I have what they call "white coat syndrome" --- I can have acceptable blood pressure at home, but go in the doctor's office and it's too high. If you're not doing it already, I suggest you pick up an inexpensive pressure monitor and take your pressure at home, then jot down the results and take it with you to your doctor appointments.

If you aren't feeling comfortable with your doctor, I think finding a different one is a good idea for you.

I have taken my blood pressure at hone for years with the ormon and had it verified at drs. I too have white coat syndrome.
it’s frustrating and I don’t know what to do anymore.
but htcz has increased my sugar cholesterol and flared my bladder. I’m going to try dropping all grains and sugars and go from there.
          I appreciate your response.
