  • NEW TO BOARD

Hi, my name is Mary and I'm 42 years old. I have had IC for the past 11 years. Been doing the standard stuff, DMSO, Elmiron, etc doing pretty good with it, till last month when I went in for my DMSO treatment. Since then, I have not really been able to go to the bathroom. ( I do trinkle/drip) but thats about all. My doctors don't know whats wrong with me, and all of the test have come back fine. I am scheduled for a urodynamics test this Friday. Know what this is for the most part. What I want to know is will this tell them what is wrong with me?? I am tired of going back and forth to doctors. HELP.

Many on the boards here have experienced the frustration you talk about.

There's lots of information on this site to help you. Remember, no matter what your bladder problem, you will find support here.

Though sometimes all of us feel like we're bashing our heads into a wall, "talking" to others really can help. banghead
Positive thoughts and prayers that new treatments for IC will reach all who struggle with this disease,
