My Story
Hey everyone,
I am 46 years old and the mother of 4 grown sons (24,22,21,18). In 1994 I had a Hysteromy(sp)but they left my ovaries. I was flooding during my period and I had prolapse. Then nearly 2 years ago I had my first UTI..Got meds and everything was fine. Then last fall, I was having a weird pain. I couldn't tell exactly where it was but it only hurt after I sat on a hard chair or on my top step of my porch. Then hours later I would wake up with the worst pain I ever had. It would last a little well then go away. I went to a GYN, after a pelvic exam, I am told I have rectocele. (which is my rectum had fallen into my vagina). I had surgery to fix that. When he was doing that, he also found my left ovary had attached itself to my vagina so he took that out. I am also going through menopause...thats been fun too..NOT..lol..And now I have IC...Been through alot and I will survive this too.
