  • Plans for Valentine's day?

Well we IC'ers have to pick and choose carefully what our night consists of. Who wants to wait on a table for two hours and then finally get to eat.?
Most restaurants around here don't have reservations as an option.

Sooo without a babysitter this year, it's the three of us on this couple's night.

    What are ya'lls plans?

(Go easy on the strawberries dipped in chocolate!)

    Hugs and kisses........
    Tons of support,
    Jaime

I'll be cooking pancakes from 7:00 to 11:00 am for a Lions Club benefit --- after which I plan to come home and collapse in a heap for the remainder of the day.

I do like doing it --- and get to see so many people I know. I live in a small community so we know almost everyone.

My husband and I are actually going out to dinner TONIGHT instead of tomorrow, to avoid the crowds. He made reservations at a nice place close to our house, so we will do that and then come home and either watch a DVD or just turn in early. Tomorrow we'll probably just kick back and relax around home... I could definitely use a lazy day. We have a hot tub, so a soak in that will definitely be in order!

We will just stay home and relax. We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary last weekend(Feb. 5th) is our anni. So we had a nice weekend out then. We enjoy staying home and doing nothing too. So many people out and everyday can be Valentines Day, it is all in the attitude.

I know I am not going to have to cook dinner, but I do not know what else is in store. He told me today, if I am good, I am going to get a nice surprise, so I am being very good today, just made his some of his favorite brownies.I will find out tomorrow. I like surprises, he is always full of those. Smiles Iris.

Congrats on your first year of marriage, Jess!!

And go, Brat and Dixie's dhs on lovely gifts.

Dh and I agreed to no gifts this year, and I hope he really sticks to it this year because we are moving next month and don't need any extra expense. We have a babysitter for V-day so we might go out to eat, although all I really want to do is just stay home and watch a DVD.

Happy Valentine's Day! It's great to read everyone's stories!!

Congratulations Jess!!!! It's our first married Valentine's Day too, and hubby came home from work today with a dozen gorgeous long-stem roses!! Wasn't it exciting to get the "husband" cards this year? We're going out for dinner tomorrow night too, courtesy of my students who got my husband and I a gift certificate to a very nice restaurant. I love this place...funky, great live jazz band, GREAT food... and looking forward to a romantic evening!

                            Lots of hugs to everyone!

Even after being married almost 32 years, my sweetie brought me a gorgeous plant for Valentines day.

I wish the smilies were here --- I'd put in a whole row of big smiles.
