    Hello my name is Maria

I had a total hysterectomy Jan 19. 2007 (everything removed) that needed ureter stents to be put in before surgery. Since then everything has gone wrong. I have an urology appt on March 1 because I cannot stand the burning (urethra) and the urgency. I have some pain but not unbearable. I have had a history of UTI and beleive i have IC. I have started the IC diet but have soo many questions.

Is the method of cooking the acceptable items a problem?

Anyone think that this might just be residual stent issues?

How long after completing the diet will pain stop? TO let you in I never have drank coffie, tea,. Don't like OJ and stay away from citus fruit due to acid. My two main acidic foods are chocolate and tomatoes.

My mind is racing because I am frustrated.

    thanks for letting me vent

    Welcome
I don't know much about the stents.
It does take time and remember that the IC diet is not a full cure just a help.
    Best of luck!
Be sure to read the others stories for help with questions to ask your doc and meds that others have tried.

I honestly can't answer your stent question. You really need to talk with your doctor.

      Warm hugs,
