The only thing that helps me sleep is Ambien. I have tried Lunesta but it does not work as well for me as the Ambien does.

It's really awful but everything will probably seem different to you. I swear I was a totally different person before my hyst. I didn't even recognize who I was. I had to get used to being in someone else's skin and learn who "I" was.

I haven't hardly had a good night's sleep in almost three years. This is worse that being a new mom in my opinion. I have been one of the crabbiest people since this surgery.

If I could do it all over again, and believe me I wish I could, I would NEVER have the surgery. Especially knowing what I know now, and that is that the pain was probably mostly my IC and I probably didn't need the hyst. That's the worst, is not having my doctor even mention that this disease existed as an option.

It is hard. I am ready to leave now!
First of all, everyone has acted "weird" around me all day. Can't quite figure that one out. The only person that has seemed remotely normal is the chick that did half my job and she was elated to see me....... as she rounded the corner to start dumping stuff on my desk. Other than that, this place is like a morgue or something.

I am postmenopause and I still am not able to sleep without a sleep pill. It is the worst symptom I had and it lingers on. Ambien...take me away.

First day back at work- UGH!!

    Soooooooo tired!!!!!!!
Fortunately no one has been really in my face about anything. And I am sedated enough that I wouldn't claw their eyes out if they tried. But I hate this feeling.

I cannot sleep at night. That has got to be the WORST symptom of menopause. I could care less about the night sweats. The hot flashes are sometime really bothersome, other times not so bad depending if I am in an enviornment where I can start shedding my clothing or not!

But the lack of sleep is AWEFUL! What do you do??????
Working...
