Anyone have any advice what I can do at home to help with ths PFD? I think it is somthing i have to deal with. Some times i really notice the tightness from the vaginal down threw the anus. where it just kind of feel so tight and acky. Some times it husrts so bad, I wish they made an ice pack to just shove in the vaginal area cos it just hurts and acks so much.crazy idea, but I have no how else to describe the pains from it.Of course in the anel area nobody needs somthing shoved in that area but the muscles that arera just hurt and ack.
So anyone have any advice? I really can use it even right now its acking bad.Do taking muscles relaxers help?Any advice will be great, thanks

When I had the Botox injections done last week I woke up with a condom ice pack in my vagina. I have no idea how to make them. My best guess would be to fill a condom with water and put it in the freezer.

I would appeal the insurance not covering it. You could do some research and ask the PT to help you find some articles to attach. The insurance company's job is to say no and yours is the more difficult one to get them to say yes. My insurance company approved it, but always fought additional appointments. My PT yelled at the insurance nurse several times. LOL! It was great!

Sorry about your denial and I hope you can get it turned around.

Wow, I was thinking about starting Physical Therapy and I wonder if my insuarnace will cover it. We have an awful deuctible ($2,500) plus we have to pay 20% after we meet our deductible.
This stinks, why does everything have to be so Darn expensive.
I hope things get worked out for you.

When I was taking PT, I had to call around, 2 of the 3 places that the doctor recommended was not on the insurance that I have which is BCBS but the other one was, so I went with her. She was really wonderful and knew her stuff. You just have to call your insurance and see if there is a Therapist in your area that does take your insurance. I know that if I went with the other 2 I would of had to pay $150.00 out of pocket for each hour that I was there, which I really couldn't afford and the insurance would only reimburse me 1/2 of it back. Good luck.

If you insurance absolutely won't cover it, check with the PT to see if there is a different rate for patients without insurance. Some places have a sliding fee scale for patients without insurance coverage.

              Thanks everyone for the info.
For me though my insuerance is threw the stte/county i am not exactly sure. It offers min coverage. I dont think there is any fighting over it. I did call them yesterday though.
Also the problem is I dont have a job, no money at all. I have been laid off since Feb 28th. Nothing in the savings account left. Since to have this crappy insurance you have to have low inome like 150% below poverty. which means I cant even pay all my bills even if i wanted to. Now they dont even cover me when i need the help. Its so retarted. So i cant even go in to pay out of pocket.
I get the insurance the Family Independant Agency (FIA), I keep asking if there is any other insurance or any other help i can get. Nope nothing. I dont have any kids and i am not Blind, or "disabledwhich I am working on the disablity I have an apointment next week also for a physiclocal meeting god only knows what that will be like But It will be a few days after my surgery so Im sure i will be in a lot of pain then so maybe a good thing).
So there is no other help or assiance or other insiurancei can get for help. and being that i have so many freeking pre-exsisting conditions, i cant go out and buy it.lol well i dont have the money to buy it if i had it,lol.
              OK im dont complaining.
everyone take good care of ur selfs, hope all of you are feeling good.
              thanks again

I have some papers at home I will try to scan and send to you when I can, probably this week or the beginning of next. My physical therapist gave me a lot to try at home and I got a interferentail stimulator unit. That is a life saver at times, but cost me over $500.
I also do not have extra money for physical therapy. I went a couple times, but found that it actually was stuff I could do at home. My PDF isn't that bad. If you roll up a towel under your back and surround yourself with pillows that helps. It's supposed to change your seratonin levels or something. If you massage around the areas that are tight it can give some relief. There are points to put pressure on and things like that.
Good luck with it!!! I wish you the best.
