  • Need Info ASAP!!!

    Hi everyone.
    I have question what to do, I while ago, I went to the bathroom, got up took shower, and still feel i had to go sat there for like 5 mins cant go. so i dry hair and get dressed. Still have presure to go.
    So i try again. And cant go at all. I was trying to feel for swelling since just had surgery. well ther eis swelling but its the vaginal opening. parts suposed to be on inside are pokeing out, and the muscle area between vaginal and where you go #2 is very swelled also. I am pretty sure its whats causing me not to go. But i am not sure whats the reason and how to get it to unswell. I took some motrin 800mg. But what else can i do. I never had this i think before so no idea whats it is.
    Any Ideas?? let me know thanks
    stacy

    Please call your doctor. It sounds like you need some attention fairly quickly.

    And if you can't reach your doctor, a trip to ER would be an alternative.

          I totally agree...you DEFINATELY need to call your Dr. immediately! I would call your DR. or the Dr. on call before going to the ER. He/She may tell you to go to the ER anyway, but they also might have an idea about the cause of this and be able to call in something to help you. As for the ice, though it would probobly help, at this point, I dont think I'd do it yet, unless your DR. doesnt want you to go to the ER. Then, you can try it. But, if you are going to the ER, they need to see the swelling at it's worst. If you bring down the swelling before they see it, they may not realize it is as bad as it is. JMHO!

          PLEASE dont delay calling until tomorrow!!! Your Dr. needs to know about this right now! This is an emergency!

          Please post what happened as soon as you are able to do so, as we are all going to be worried about you until we hear something.

          Now get off of here and CALL!!!

          I hope you get this resolved tonite and that it is nothing serious.

          Many hugs,
          Amy

            Hi Everyone;
            With in an hour of leaving the message, I was finnaly able to go to the bathroom.Thank GOD! I didnt want to go to the ER again. I had taken some Motrin. I think that helped some. THe swelling is down except still teh vaginal area is still little bit swollen, but the other area is not any longer. I am wondering also is that part of haveing PFD? On monday I will call the doctors office to let them know hopefuly I can make it threw this weekend without any more of that.
            That is the worst feeling, to not be able to go to the bathroom when you know you have to go really bad. Thanks everyone for all your advice. Im so glad I was able to go to the bathroom. I had to baby sit from 6-1am, and I was desperatly in need of the money. IF i had not I would have had gone to the ER.So i m greatful for not needing to go.
            Thanks everyone for your help.
            Have a wonderful Easrer if you celebrate it!
