  • Ic/pbs-pms

I was on my way home from cleaning the church yesterday and I just started to laugh out loud. My grandma was riding home with me and my son...I know that was random just wanted you to see the whole picture,lol....anyway I had been thinking about how I had just been diagnosed a week and 2 days ago, and then I thought of all the abbreviations. Then I started to laugh, and my grandma asked what was so funny, my reply was, "This is messed up, I now have IC/PBS and now I've got PMS too!" I had to find the humor in all these syndromes or I would go crazy. To make things even better my 2 year old was in the back seat screaming at the top of his lungs.... ic mommy pms... along with some other things I couldn't quite get. There is also one more thing to add... when I think PBS, usually Public Broadcasting Station pops into my head. Reason being is in New Orleans we had a channel called PBS. Just thought I'd share this with everyone. I tried to fix the last thread b/c I had a typo in the title so please, I'm not dumb, really I'm not.

" Home is ultimately not about the place to live but about the people with whom you are most fully alive. Home is about love, relationship, community, and belonging, and we are all searching for home."

" Our ability to endure, to persevere, to overcome is fueled by this one seemingly innocuous ingredient called hope."

I'm reading this book by: Erwin Raphael McManus called Soul Cravings. I saw these passages and decided to share them with you.

It is funny. You get to the point where other people have no idea what you're talking about! Now, you need to add that it was so amusing you just had to post it here -- on the ICN.

ps -- I haven't been able to figure out how to make changes to a title either, and I am a computer scientist, LOL. If you figure it out, please let me know!
Je vous souhaite de la joie, de la bonne santée, et tout ce qu'il y a de bon dans la vie.
Wishing you happiness and good health, and all the best out of life.

      Peace, Carolyn

In addition, a friend just made a good point which I decided to share " that this is so amusing I just had to share it here."
