    Hi
I was recently diagnosed with both IC and ITP. Visited many doctors that said not my area until finally a uroligist filling in at the hospital figured it out. I consider myself lucky that it took only 3 months to figure this out considering I also have a ruptured disc L2,L3 and kidney stones. The pain was horrible. Healthy a year ago and now all of this. I am following the diet faithfully. I have the pain under control now, thankfully, so that I can function. Still hurts all of the time but I am coping. Is anyone else dealing with both Interstitial cystitis and
    Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

I also have IC and numerous other problems with my health. Sometimes I feel like an old automobile that needs constant repairs.HAHA.
Stick with the IC diet and hopefully your uro has found the right treatment plan for you. I had DMSO treatments which so far have done the trick for me.
Every icer is different as I am sure you allready know. This forum is very informative and a great start also you may want to look on the net for IC and learn as much as possible knowledge is good. I wish you the best keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.HEY I am 54 also will be 55 Feb the 22.

to the IC Network. I think it's very good that you are following an IC diet. I hope you continue to improve. Are there any plans to "fix" your back?

      Sending warm healing thoughts,
