I was trying to go completely organic with food, and now beauty products hoping that it would help improve my pain levels since the diet isn't working, and everything else i've tried isn't working. It is ridiculously hard to find shampoo and conditioner that don't contain troubling ingredients. They all have soy, potassium, citric acid, fruit extract, etc. I even tried Henry's and Whole Foods and couldn't find anything I could use. Are there special brands or stores that you go to for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and shaving cream? This is harder than the diet. :/

Try and google Radiant Health. They have so many natural products, and they can help with what you might need or not need. I'm not sure if they have beauty products, but I would think they might. Hope this is helpful.

You might want to try some hypoallergenic products. They are fairly easy to find.

The website that I know is legiet is radianthealthbr.com. They have a store in Louisiana and that is the store website. It is owned by an MD. I haven't personally been there, but a good friend of mine swears by it. It's all about hollistic healling. Try that site, if it doesn't help I'll ask my friend if she knows a better site.

You could also try vitacost. Not everything they carry is organic, but if you browse through their site you will find items of this nature. I buy Dr. Woods Shea Vision Pure Black Soap from there as my body wash.

Ingredients: Water, saponified coconut, hemp & olive oils with retained glycerin, black soap concentrate, organic shea butter (butrysopermum parkii), fragrance, vitamin e (tocopheryl acetate), sea salt, citric acid, rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis) extract and natural caramel

I know it has citric acid, but it was one of the best organic soaps I could find and the citric acid is lower on the list of ingredients.

You can also try making your own soap. Google soap making sites. I got 10 pounds of pure shea butter, all you have to do is melt it and pour into molds, let it cool and pop em out. It's a LOT less expensive than buying all natural or organic products (comes to about 50 cents a 4 oz bar). There are organic scents you can add to it if you want and can tolerate. They also offer pure olive oil, cocoa butter and other soap making stuff, as well as shampoo ingredients. Hope this helps, we love it, very gentle. Jill, wife of Bob
