Don't mean to sound dumb, but being new to this , could someone tell me what does PFD stand for ? Last night was not great as when I got home from my daughters house I felt the need to pee and when I went I felt pressure and then alittle pain after voiding. Now this morning I went and felt nothing. Sometimes it is there and other times it isn't. It this a normal thing to happen with ic? Can pain with ic just be pain after voiding? I decided to go to my doctor tomorrow to talk with her as I can't see the urologist again till April 6. Thanks everyone as today was not a good one. Trying to stay positive

It stands for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction --- it's when the muscles of the pelvic floor are very tight --- if that happens, physical therapy can be helpful.
