  • Have I found something that works???

    Hey all,

I found this board a few months ago and shared my story and got lots of advice and support......Thanks

    a few months on....

I have been taking up to 14 different types of meds per day to try and get rid......I thought it was going away BUT no and it got worse and worse.

I got a second opinion from another Doctor and told him that I kept being fobbed off with antibiotics by my Doctor....that I wanted to see a specialist......and needed something for the pain...

I could kiss him....he prescribed me Tramadol 50mg (1 or 2 pills up to 4 times a day)...

OMG, SECOND DAY ON THEM AND I HAVE NO PAIN....HAVING PROPER PEES AND I FEEL ELATED AFTER 3 MONTHS IN A NIGHTMARE

I wanted to share the success of this med for pain relief, just in case it helps anyone else going through this nightmare, you never know...it may work for you too

I have an appointment with the Urologist on the 11th Yipppeeee

Fingers crossed Tramadol will work for you too
This is what I am taking and they work:
    Ciprofloxacin 500mg (1 after jiggy)
Tramadol 50mg (1 or 2 pills) up to 4 times a day - Painkillers THAT ARE AMAZING

I'm happy that you are doing better.

The one thing that I noticed from your list of drugs is Naprosyn. Anti-inflammatory drugs can be a big problem for many of us.

Have you tried the IC diet. There is a list in ICDonna's post (the post before mine) that will take you to the diet. If you can stick to the diet for a few weeks, it might help you. I know it works for me.

have I found something that works?

          Queenie,
          That's wonderful!
Now I know why my dog looks so happy when we give Tramadol to him,(sorry, not comparing you to our pooch)!
I love hearing the stories about people who find something that works. They're so hopeful.
          Stay well,
          Laurie

I am happy that tramadol worked for you; for me it was like taking an aspirin it did nothing for my pain. and that uro let me suffer for three months.

I don't understand or know the language in the posts by coovaEryeleDor. I do see the words poker & strip poker. Is there anything in these posts about IC?

Don't open any emails from them. I think it's either spyware or a virus. Hopefully, an ICN moderator will let us know.

                      Help!!!

How do I flag post 9 & 10 as offensive? How do I get in touch with a moderator? The person that posted 9 & 10 has 101 posts of similar nature.
                      Thank you
