  • Ic ????

Hi I'm not sure if what I have is IC this is what i struggle with every month. It seems to have started after I had a Leep procedure done about 5yrs ago I would feel the pressure than have a stream of blood than relief. But for the last year and a half, when I get my period anywhere between the second and third day with the heaver bleeding I start going to the every 15min for about 4-5hrs than on my hundredth trip to the bathroom I go but there is no relief so I know my symptoms are at its worst. I have found if I take a Xanax currently .5mg than 1/2 hr latter I'll take a motrin. This takes away the pressure and pain. It also puts me to sleep which I welcome. I went to my GYN and she told me when I have bleeding my cervix tilts. I dread that time of the month It is the worst feeling and I understand why a person would go insane with these symptoms "unbearable". I try to stay away from caffeine on my bad days and drink extra water so do get some relief for awhile anyway. I usually have this problem two days last month I had it one day, omg I was so happy the next day. I'm going to visit my dad in a couple days and I should have my period on the travel day wondering if I should buy some diapers for myself. I am 51 and so can't wait for menopause !!!I hope

I can't even guess what's going on with you. If you do have IC you'll want to avoid caffeine all the time to avoid what you call the bad days. I hope you don't flare while traveling. I this continues, you might want to see a urologist.

    Stay safe

I agree with Donna. I would avoid any caffeine at all costs until you know what's going on.
