  • 2nd degree burn

    My foot caught on fire last night lol..... long story.....
    anyways its huge and prolly 2nd degree, i cnt wear shoes not even flip flops
    i have to work wat do i do to take care of it and wat shoes

    What did your doctor do to treat it? You may need to be on crutches for a bit.

      I havnt been to the doc I went to CVS n they just gave me blister bandaids the blister broke wen I was sleeping n it still hurts.

        If the burns are extensive and blistered, you really should at least call your doctor.

          Some workplaces won't let you work with an open wound or without being able to wear a shoe. You might want to make sure you can. They don't want any liability if something happens while you are there.

          I would think you should see a Dr too, you don't want to risk infection or it healing wrong and impairing your use of the foot.

            As everyone has said you may want to see your doctor there's a great cream for burns he can give you that also helps with the scarring. You may also need to be on an antibiotic so you don't get an infections. As a supervisor I would most likely not let my staff wear flip flops because of the possibility of infection, we work in a very busy doctors office. Hope you find help soon.
            IC diagnosis 3 weeks ago.
            Vesicare 10 mg once daily
            IBS and Gerd-Zegerid
            IC diet
            Elmiron 100 mg three daily
            Hydroxyzine 25 mg at night
            Amitriptyline 10mg at night
            Diovan 60/12.5 daily
            Topral 50 mg daily
            Zoloft 100 mg at night
            Klonopin .5 twice daily
