  • Horrible pain

I had back surgery Fusion at S1/L5 hoping to get rid of this terrible pain, then a hysterectomy, and a bladder suspension I was stage 3{prolapse of bladder and uterus** it needed to be done. Then a bladder sling......the pain is worse and it seems that I have nerve damage from the back surgery; the fusion was not easy. I also have Trigeminal Neuralgia, so between the TN and the IC, I have two of the worlds worst pains to deal with. Plus having OA and RA, Fibromyaligia, and Migraines.
I am beginning to think that shooting me is too much trouble. I have lost 45 lbs to the IC, and still losing weight. I have a constant bladder infection, and they are finally sending me to see an Infectious Disease Specialist, but I have to wait my turn........having flank pain and my white blood count is off, so I know that it is heading north on me. I feel bloated, queasy, and just general malaise all the time now I never feel rest at all.
Feeling at my whits end with all the pain and peeing, tried Urgent PC, and it failed. Bladder spasms are making it where my bladder does not know what to do. Last week I had to change clothes eight times in one day, not just pads. Then there are day when I cannot pee at all.
On Elmiron, and Hydroxazine but has made no difference, and watching what I eat. And yes on pain meds but still have to go to the ER to get Cathed, or for pain. Feeling like my life will never get better. PS I also had knee and elbow/ulnar surgery last year too. Now they want to do an InterStim, and a knee replacement, so trying to get MRI's behind me.
Sitting and driving make the Pain so horrible. Don't Doctors know that this pain is as bad as Stage 4 Cancer. So I have had this PAIN FOR OVER A YEAR NOW, AND OCCASIONALLY BEFORE THEN, IT NEVER LETS UP ANY MORE. I DON'T DRINK CAFFEINE, NEVER EVER, I DON'T EVEN CARE FOR COFFEE AND WAS ONLY DRINKING CAFFEINE FREE SUGAR FREE SODAS, NOW THAT IS GONE TOO. WHAT A WAY TO LIVE, KNOWING WHERE ALL THE GOOD SPOTS TO PEE ARE. i LOVE MY FUR BABY

It sounds like you've really been through the mill a couple of times. I had a cervical spine fusion sixteen months ago and it took almost a year to recover --- I hope your back will feel better soon.

    Sending warm healing thoughts,
    Donna
