I'm so nervous. I'm having laporscopic surgery plus a cysto with hydro. I've had both done before... Dr wrote for me to be off work for 2-3 week. Also for laporscopic they want me to do prep that is a big no no for me, drinking gatorade for prep. I have to take 5 ducolax tab plus 2 bottles of miralax in 2 bottles of gatorade. When I had surgery in 04 I didnt have to do this so I'm wondering if every dr is different?

Yes, every DR has their own protocol. The Dr is expecting you to follow instructions and is basing his procedures on the fact that you did. If you feel you cant follow the instructions you need to phone your Dr asap and explain and see if there another way to go about the pre-op prep.
Wishing you well.(\__/)

I agree. You need to call your doctor to hopefully find a different prep liquid.
