Anyone had to care for one of these? I am having cystoscopy, bladder distension and coaptite injections the end of this week and am pretty nervous about having this cath.
Try not to worry. Nursing staff will be sure you know how to care for yourself.
Sending gentle hugs,
Donna

I am having a similar procedure next month (cystoscopy with injections) and I will have a normal catheter left in. At least I think it's a normal one! I am surprised to hear you need a suprapubic. Anyhow, I found this link that describes how to care for the suprapubic, hopefully it reassures you. Good luck!
