GOOD NEWS

On Friday (March 8) we took my son to a ped. uro. in Lubbock. there was some scare of Trystan having a cyst(s) in his bladder. Not so. Everything checks out okay. His little bladder is a little on the small side and the bladder walls are a little thicker than normal but we can deal with that. The doc. put him on ditropan 10mg. Hope that helps with his urgency. If he doesn't respond to the ditropan well enough the worse case senerio is to go and streache his little bladder like a baloon.
Friday was my 30th birthday. To get some good news like that was the best birthday gift of all. For the last five weeks I have just been terrified of Trystan having to go through so much if it turned out that he had a tumor or a cyst(s). I was very nerve wracking to say the least.

There have been lots of praying and I have said many thank you's. The power of prayer....it's awsome.

Your son is very lucky to have a Mom like you. I am glad he isn't going to need any surgury. How old is he? I probably had IC from a really young age. It wasn't diagnosed till 28 years old I am now 43. My Mom could not help me when it came to anything medical so I was on my own and scared. It is good to see you there for him. I will keep you both in my prayers, they do help. Love Carol

Trystan is 6 years old. My youngest son, my baby. I have three boys: Chase(12) and Chance(10). I became a mother at a very young age. I wouldn't change the past even if I could. They are my life, my joy. I have been married- will be 13 years in July.
I have IC and cystocele. Like you, I always had problems and frequent UTI's as a child. Nothing helped. My mother hurt right along with me cause there was nothing she could do. Trystan is the same way that I was at that age. I knew what he felt. Knew how he hurt. It's heart braking. Trystan doesn't have IC. Thank God! Just some minor bladder problems. Big relief.

I have urge incontinence since I was borned. My mom took me to several doctors, but no one helped me, until now. I stoped wetting my bed until I was 18 yrs. old. It was horrible! I hope you find help for your son!
