  • Topamax, Lamictal and other migraine drugs & IC

I have chronic migraines with dizziness, vertigo. A provider gave me Topamax 25mg for the vertigo, I tried half tablet for 3 nights, had to get up and pee every 90 minutes or less each night, had mild to moderate bladder pain in the morning, so I quit it. Another provider just gave me Lamictal, which I may try tonight, but I saw one of the lesser side effect is urinary frequency, which has me concerned. Anyone else had experience with these drugs? Thanks.

I've never taken either and don't have migraines, but have had vertigo --- I take meclizine, an over the counter tablet and it works for me with no bladder issues.
