Pain Management Referral
Finally!
I have a referral to see a Pain Management Specialist on Monday morning. Yahooo. His office informed me that he will do his eval and then forward treatment suggestions to my family doc to try.?????? This seems a little weird, but right now I will take what I can get.
My wife finally realized just how bad it can get this past weekend. I stayed in the house in bed or on the couch all week-end. In our 15 years of marriage she has never ever seen that happen. She is very supportive and tells me not to do what I feel that I can't.
I have a new problem. It is fall in South Texas, this means High School Football, and I never miss. I have adjusted my seating placement in close proximity to the restroom and where I can stand or pace if needed. Necessity IS the mother of invention. Y'all have a great day.

It's always nice when you get help like that. My uro prescribes my pain meds, so I don't know what goes into seeing a pain doc. I'm glad that I don't need to go to one, though. It's nicer just to call my nurse and whine. She's great... hehe Keep us updated!! We'd love to hear what your pain doc says. Lots of luck!!
