Baking Soad Put me in Remission

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I have not had any real symptoms sence I started the baking soda and I even started my period and NO flare. I am so greatful that I can feel this good at this time. Boy does it make me appreciate the good times. Well I just wanted to share,also I know a few of you have shared that with baking soda you have to worry about the sodium level do to other elments. My doctor told me that they have other medication that does the same thing but with out the efect of sodium, you might want to give it a try, I know I would, but then again i have had such wonderful results with the Baking Soda, I just pray it last. Ok take care and know that I am thinking of you all and praying that you all get into remission.

Hi, Stacy, I am so glad you are in remission and I hope it stays for you!

That's good news about the baking soda, it helped me too when I was flaring, before the Elmiron worked for me.

It's true that you have to be careful not to take too much and also watch for sodium/blood pressure/water retention but if you don't have any problems, and it helps, it sounds like a good thing!

Many people have gotten the same result from taking Prelief which might be better for many people because it doesn't have the sodium but instead has calcium which is good for us.

Stacy!!! Wow a remission....That's great! Especially right now. You'll have more relaxed fun during the holidays.
I say if the baking soda works then keep on with it as long as your doctor thinks it's ok.
