  • laparoscopic hysterectomy

I recently had a laparoscopic hysterectomy along with a cyscoposy with bladder extension. Now I feel horrible. The urologist did see bleeding after they expanded my bladder and I feel horrible. My surgery was November 7th. My bladder feels so tender now. I know it was a major surgery but I think the cyscoposy was the worse part. What do I do? Does it take time to heal. All I feel now is frequency and pelvic pain. I'm calling the doctor tomorrow. I don't know what to do I feel so helpless.

I'm glad you're calling your doctor --- but it can take six to eight weeks to recover just from the hysterectomy --- I hope you're taking it easy --- and that you feel better soon.

    Warm hugs,
