I got the idea for trying this form of Vit. D from my gastro. I told him how difficult it was for me to find a form of calcium I could take and he recommended the chewable Viactiv because you are starting to digest it as you are chewing. (BTW, I use the Target brand.) Anyway, he was right.
I guess you have to find what works for you. Of course, I take most of my supplements with meals, except for the fiber, which is between meals so as to not affect absorption of important nutrients.
