So during an internal exam where the Dr presses on my abdomen and pushes up towards my bladder, or if I'm sitting/lying and one of my kids jumps or hits my low abdomen, or if I'm simply leaning over a counter and pressure is put on my bladder I get severe pain/burning/ and a sensation like I'm about to pee myself. Does anyone else get this?

See I can be having a pretty "good" day symptom-wise, but still have severe pain if I get hit in the lower abd/bladder area.Comment

severe pain
I guess it's sort of like having a bruise. It might not be bothering you, but if you touch it or bump it, it's going to hurt. Not that our bladders are bruised but it's the same idea.Comment

Pelvic examinations are a problem for most ICers. Sometimes a gyn will be very gentle, but it's still uncomfortable.
