Hi,
I am 29 years old and it took me 7 years to get diagnosed with PBS! I have spent alot of time in hospitals, GP surgeries etc....more hours than I'd like to admit. I have been through alot of pain and heartache, nearly lost my husband, my home, my credibility and my mind! But finally my new specialist has found mild bilateral reflux, recurrent UTI's and pyelonephritis and PBS! I have been to a pain management clinic this year and finally my life is turning around for the better. Its been such a long road and I know I have a long way to go but I'm feeling positive most days and am recovering from the ordeal I went through just to get to this point.
I dont wish to overindulge on the 'poor me' side of things. But it is nice to think I will be able to talk to others who understand how I feel and what I'm going through everyday. I'm so excited at that thought alone. I'd also love to help anyone else who needs support cos the way I see it we all have to stick together!
