Just picked up the vaginal valium from the local compounding pharmacy. It's a clear capsule with liquid in it that i am to insert. Is this normal? I was expecting a suppository that looks like a rectal one? Do you think this is correct?? What does everyone elses look like?

HI, BKPoague ~
I've gotten mine at 2 different compounding pharmacies and they do not look as you described. They are a solid, easily melting white substance in a blue rubbery form (kinda bullet shaped).
Maybe you should check with your doctor to see if they know....also call the pharmacy back to ask and I'm sure they'll give you answers.
The ingredients of mine are listed in my signature.
Best wishes in finding out.Never heard of IC til suspected....Never knew so many suffer from it. Praying for a cure.I've found answers...so can you...keep the hope.

Just throwing out one more opinion, that isn't what mine look like either. They are white, although one pharmacy did make blue. Similar to a rectal one.
