  • Different Pain

Hi I'm still fairly new to this, having just been diagnosed 4 months ago. I'm still in a lot of pain most of the time (though I've had some days where I'm not in any) even though I've been on elmiron since Feb. and the IC diet since then. Do any of you notice that you have different pain for different triggers? Eating wrong food, stress, period/ovulation? I'm trying to figure mine out and want to know if that could be a way I could figure something out.

    Thanks!
    Emily Anne

It can be difficult to figure out what causes a flare. One thing you might try is to keep a detailed diary of everything that goes in your mouth, activity levels, voiding, etc. You might be able to isolate your triggers that way.
