  • ??? about the pain

I was wondering if some of you guys or gals could describe how and where the pain started for you. For the past few day I have noticed that I have been going to the bathroom more often then normal (normal=hour and a half to two hours, now=40 to 60 minutes). This morning I woke up and every now and then I get a very sharp stabbing type pain about 6 inches below my belly button.
I never really had any pain with my IC, more of a cramping/spasm feeling that was more of a dull pain. I never really thought of it as a "pain", more of a
    discomfort.
Can anyone tell me if this is how the IC pain starts out?

    Thanks

Your pain could be from your IC. But when we have IC, the tendency is to blame every pain/discomfort on the IC --- which is not always the case. If a pain is "new" and persists, I suggest calling your physician.
