  • Other medication options?

    Hello!

I was diagnosed with IC about a decade ago, For the last five years, my symptoms have been well-managed with a combination of Lyrica and nortriptyline. My high-risk OB/GYN is Ok with my staying on nortriptyline, but said I need to come off of Lyrica for pregnancy.

What are some other medications options that have worked for you? (I am not willing to try any more instillations, but am open to other things). I am scheduled to talk to my Uro next week, but I wanted to go in there with some ideas.

That's a tough one. The only thing I can think of is to stop the Lyrica, then keep a detailed diary to help you identify any triggers. And stick with your IC diet 100%.

    Good luck!
