  • I'm Pregnant!!

It has been a pretty long time since I've posted, but I am happy to announce that my husband and I are expecting our 3rd child in early October! Some of you may remember that I had wanted to have another baby, but my uro told me last fall that I needed to get my IC under control first. So... I did! I was on hydroxzine, imipramine, and daily instills of elmiron. I then started to really cut back on the instills b/c I felt pretty good most of the time. I met with my uro in early January and he actually gave me the okay to stay on my meds, except for the elmiron & he said that he would check with Dr. Parsons on that. So... the baby was conceived right away. I went ahead and stopped all meds just because I don't want to take any chances. I have been doing so good thus far!! I have occasional food related flares. I just hope to keep things under control during my pregnancy. I just wanted to share my good news with you all!

As ironic as it sounds, there are times when pregnancy can cause remission in many problems similar to ours, meaning we dont know what causes them, like fibro, cfs, ibs, etc.

Hopefully this will be the case for you.

I have 3 kids as well, and I wish the very best for you.

                            Sandy
