  • Finally, I will be a Mom!!!

I just found out that I am pregnant !!! As of today, my husband doesn't know yet. I am trying to surprise him on Christmas Eve to break this news. I am so dying to tell him, but it's not time yet. It'll be a great Christmas present for him I am so excited and very anxious at the same time. Well, because of my IC/PFD.... that may cause frequent UTI during the pregnancy. I pray that I have a safe and healthy pregnancy.
I will be very grateful if you have any tips for me.
    thanks.

Have a wonderful Christmas, everyone !!!

Thank you all for warm, wonderful comments !!! Currently, I am not taking any medications besides prenatal vitamins. The reason why is that I had been trying to get pregnant for a while and didn't want to depend on medication so when I go through my pregnancy, I can have more tolerance for my pain. I believe in more natural healing. My husband started suspecting my pregnancy... I am trying not blow my cover until Christmas. just few more days.... I am feeling so tired and so hard to stay awake. Is this part of it????

Good for you on the meds!! I hope the pregnancy hormones kick in and you have a wonderful, pain free pregnancy!! As for the tireness, oh baby, YES!! When I was pregnant with both my babies I was SO TIRED the first trimester. But after that I really perked up!! Just sleep as often and as much as you can. I loved being pregnant SO MUCH!! I hope you can enjoy it as much as I did!! I loved it, wow, just talking about it brings back such happy memories!! I hope you can save your secret til Christmas Eve!! I'd be about to bust!!! Good luck!!!

                  Congratulations and Advice

Congratulations! I hope your pregnancy is absolutely wonderful and that you hang onto every minute of its joy. I know that your doctors will guide you with your medication questions; I was told by three extremely reputable docs in a teaching hospital not to take Elmiron, and so I didn't take it or anything else during the pregnancy (with the exception of Benadryl in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters). My baby was beautiful and is still thriving -- I was/am a late in life mom and she was a miracle after 3 failed IVF's and 2 miscarriages so I understand your concerns. I hope you will have what so many of us experience -- remission during pregnancy and post-partum, particularly during breastfeeding -- and I wish you all the best.
