Hi all,
I'm 8 weeks pregnant and my IC is controlled by monthly instills of Uracyst. I asked my doctor when we were trying to conceive if I should stop taking it in pregnancy and he said it would be fine as it doesn't pass through the bladder wall into the bloodstream due to the molecule size.
Thing is I can't find any information anywhere, anecdotal or otherwise, of women who have used it in pregnancy and I'm a little worried. I am due an instill (I do them myself) and my bladder is telling me so but I am not sure if I should do it or not? Can anyone reassure me?
