    Instill on Monday!!

    So I had an instill on monday of hep, sodium bicarb and kenalog... afterwards I peed alot of blood until yesterday today not so much but I am finding that i am in so much more pain. I've been crying all day wondering what to do.. and just when I thought it wouldnt get worse my gallbladder started hurting (gallstones)
    I will be 26 weeks pregnant on Sunday, and I'm miserable. Doc scribed me ditropan and keflex the night before last. and it has not helped. I called the on call urologist and he told me to just deal with it or go to the ER and wait for my APpt on the 21st. I immediately started balling more, then he hung up on me. I'm miserable I havent slept in 2 days.. tried prelief took the ditropan which seems to be leading to retention and my elimiron. What do I do?
    I also tried sits baths for the pain my urethra, and ice! HELP

    I used to be on Elimiron, Gabapentin and Percocet. but my doctor says there is no need for pain medicine in IC.. that its over used.. why would he not give me what works he's seen my medical records and I know I'm limited on what i can have while pregnant but since when has percocet been a BIG no no while pregnant!

    I dont want to go to the ER they think I'm a drug addict because mid pregnancy I've had 10 gallstone attacks.. and the last time was the worse and they would not even treat my pain despite my cold sweats and puking and crying/screaming uncontrollably and my inability to sit still (I Was like in shock flayling!)

    Pregnancy Meds:
    Prelief (as often as needed)
    Elmiron 100mg 3x a day
    Pyridium
    Vistiril 25-50 mgs at night
    Celexa 10mg in the AM
    Tylenol 625mgs as needed
    Percocet (when they let me have it)
    Ice packs, Heat packs
    Sitz baths
    IC diet

    Don't work:
    Ditropan, Detrol LA, Instills, Biofeedback.

    Praying for a cure

    Have you discussed this with your OB doctor? If not, I think that would be a good idea.

      yeah I saw him on thursday he told me to see my urologist.

      No one seems very concerned that this has happened. I dont think its right. I also got very dizzy and weird when I had the instill in which I also read is not normal... I dunno what to think or do.

        You saying you were dizzy concerns me. Did you have your blood pressure or blood sugar checked when you were dizzy?
        Meds: Percocet PRN; Pyridium PRN. First symptoms Dec 2005. Diagnosed in March 2006.
