I know where your at, a very wise genetic councelor told me once don't feel guilty about turning the kids channel on or a DVD if it means you get a rest, so sit or lie down as much as possible today and I hope your night is better tonight.

Oh no Cindy, I'm sorry that Jake is sick and keeping you up all night. I hope that he starts to feel better soon and you can get some sleep. I still love nap time, when Griffin goes down so do I, lol. Hope you both feel better soon.

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

It's really tough when they're awake all night being sick. When my kids were small, I used to take them to bed with me when they were sick. That way I got a little sleep and they did too.

            Hugs,

thanks girls, he has a 10:30 appt. I called and cancelled todays vist, like she would show anyway.. guess its my turn, but at least I have an excuse. He is pulling at his tongue and ear, so something might be going on there. I gave him motrin at 4 this morning, he still feels clammy and warm, very pale and around his eyes look purpleish, and a runny nose. I tried putting him to bed with us, but, he just didn't know what he wanted..
well better scoot and get him ready to go.

I used to have many all-nighters with my youngest - used to run 104 fevers all day/night. Try and put in his favor video and lay him either in his bed and you on the floor (or both on the floor--or if you have a DVD in your room take him in your room and try to get him to sleep--nothing wrong with that) but like Donna said he probably has an ear ache. Give him some hugs from us.

Hi girls.. I typoed his temp it was 102.8 . He has a throat infection and 2 ear infections. I finally got him down for a nap, faxed over the drs invoice a script to foster care, was going to lay down, then Jake fell outta his toddler bed.
he's ok, but very fussy, tired and hurting. Gave him more mmotrin, and he is on 14 days of amoxicillian.
thanks for your hugs and prayers
