I thought I'd pop in and see if Angel made it today. It's hard when they're little. Speaking of that my 20 month old has learned where the snack cabinet is. He has started getting bags of chips out that usually all of it ends up in the floor. eek
Well he just brought me a bag all the way to me w/o spilling the chips. lmao LOL
That was a big trip for him, from one end of the house to the other..
    Take care. grouphug

Chronic fatigue in a child, especially one who is getting enough sleep, can very well be from not getting an adequate diet. I know it's very difficult with an IC diet --- is there any way you can review her diet with a dietitian? My youngest had severe food allergies as a small child and I absolutely know how very difficult it can be to give a child adequate nutrition when there are many foods they can't have.

    Sending an encouraging hug,
    Donna

Would she be defending herself from the boy? Maybe he was bothering her. I remember in school if asomeone bothered me I was supposed to stick up for myself.
If she was that upset I would think she didn't mean to hurt him.
Try not to worry. Maybe suggest to the teacher whether your child was in the right or wrong, you would like her to be moved away from that area.
Hugs to you Heather that tomorrow is smoother. grouphug

Maybe Angel's fatigue is from the IC, or maybe it's from a medication? Poor Angel!!

Keep us posted about your little darling!

    Hugs,
    Jess

started a topic Angel cut a kid's finger at school!

Angel cut a kid's finger at school!

I went to pick up Angel from school and had a bad feeling. I thought it was just because it's a icky, cold, rainy, and dreary day. And, I had my newborn neice and Portia with. So, I blew off the strange, bad feeling.
Well, Angel's teacher came out with her and Angel was crying. The teacher made her tell me what she did. She cut a kid's finger with her sissors!
I asked Angel why she did it and she started crying again and said that she didn't know she did it. She said her eyes were closed. She said she was so tired she couldn't keep her eyes open. Well, I believe her. I was going to keep her home today cuz she wasn't feeling well this morning. But, she isn't sick or anything. I think it was her bladder hurting and she didn't get enough sleep. Or maybe she isn't getting enough of something in her diet. I am not trying to make excuses for her. But, I believe that she was tired and I want to help her. But, she is still in trouble.
(I would still like to know why her sissors were by the boy's finger! I am still confused about that.)
Anyway, I need advice. Could it be a lack of something in her diet? Could it just have been pain keeping her awake? She get's plenty of sleep. She is in bed by 8pm and most always asleep by 8:30pm. She gets up between 6:45 and 7am.
I know she is not the type that would ever do that on purpose. Nor would she do it "just to see what would happen". She is a pretty good kid in general. I am so confused! But, if she is really tired and having a hard time staying awake for school, I need to help her.
