Do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around..that's what it's all about..whoooo!
While we have the gift of life,
it seems to me the only tragedy
is to allow part of us to die --
    whether it is our spirit,
    our creativity,
    or our glorious uniqueness.

      Diagnosed August 2001

Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.

OOohhhhhhh! I've been waiting for your post!!!! Congratulations, MOM! You did it!!! He's beautiful indeed!

Now.....YOU rest, pamper yourself, stare at Jayden's beautiful little face, and accept help when you need it. As a new mom I have learned that we really can't do EVERYTHING ourselves so let Dad take over once in a while.

You have cradled him, protected him, fed him and brought him into this world. Well done, I say!
