  • Did I spend too much??

I go back and forth at least 3X daily thinking that my almost 11 year old daughter is ungrateful and spoiled - to (the other extreme) thinking that she is a great little girl. She can just change so quickly. Ok - now the reason I am asking is that I bought her a Play Station 2 and Nascar 2003 and Mary Kate & Ashley's License to Drive games for her Birthday on Saturday. I spent just over $300 on her. Too much??? Did I over do it??? What do you think? My hubby - jokingly - said if I buy her anything else he's going to divorce me. hehe. Thanks, Michelle in KC hi hi hi hi

"Spoiling" a child takes more than buying a nice birthday gift for her. If, on the other hand, she gets everything she wants --- when she wants it, then you perhaps need to think about it. I sacrificed many times to get gifts for my children when they were growing up --- many times it took me until September to pay for Christmas! They are all adults now and they turned out just fine.

    Hugs,
