The nerves and muscles are so close that it's not surprising to have bowel and bladder symptoms effect each other.

I used to have it all the time but it also happened before having a bowel movement. I realized it was mainly due to being constipated. So, I stay away from anything made with flour, no potatoes, rice ect. Mostly fruit, veggies, yoguart and such.

I get this during a flare up. My urethra is always more irritated after a bowel movement, it can last for hours. I think it has to do with PFD and the act of pushing( even when not constipated, just getting it out)! It’s annoying! I find when my flare ups start to die down, so does this symptom.

This is really random and I suspect Pelvic Floor Dysfunction on top of I.C., but does anyone else have this, why do we have it, and has anything helped you?
