Dry Mouth....I have an answer!!!
Well I just saw this board and thought I'd share my findings.
I get horrible dry mouth from Pyridium Plus and a few other meds
BIOTENE makes a pretty good chewing gum, they look like chiclets, and they make a pretty good toothpaste. I do have to order it special thru my pharmacist, no biggie though.
Lollipops, hard candy, and other gums coupled with the bacteria that grows out of control because of lack of saliva, were giving me so many cavaties!!
They also have an "artificial saliva", but that makes my stomach turn. The idea of it just doesn't sit well with me I guess.
