  • Some things are working.........

I've been taking a good quality probiotic (without FOS...I'm allergic to it!) and found that I am getting some relief. I don't have the cramping that I had before. I also started adding in calcium carbonate in it's pure form. It's the same stuff that is in Tums. I got it in powder form with no other ingredients added in. Of course, I have to watch my diet. I'm basically on a low residue diet....boring I know......but I've come to like it. Especially if I don't get sick afterwards! I had a few slip-ups last weekend when I went out to dinner and learned that I can't order certain types of food yet. Oh well!
I hope others are getting some relief too. It's horrible....especially with IC too.
    hang in there.
