i have been taking the generic (dicyclomine) for years, prescribed for my IBS-D. However, when I notice some spasms of the pelvic floor (i.e. bad pelvin pain especially after urinating multiple times, or intercourse), I also take one (20mg), and w/in approx 15-20 minutes feel significantly better. It does make you a bit drowsy at times, and some minor dry mouth, but other than that, this is great. Best of Luck. :woohoo:

HI! I've tried Pamine and it gave me urine retention and it was awful! It also caused constipation. I don't blame you for being careful with what meds you take.....you don't want worse symptoms than you already have! Good luck! RoxieLeave a comment:

Anyone tried Bentyl and/or Pamine Forte?
Hi there,
Has anyone tried Bentyl and or Pamine Forte? I was on Pamine years ago but now w/IC I'm terrified of side effects such as urinary retention. My dr. wants me on Bentyl but again, I'm afraid of side effects. Anyone tried these w/success? What side effects did you have, and did they lessen?
