My mom has RA and i have IC, yes they are both autoimmune diseases and i truly believe there is a common denominator.
I only posted cause she takes the artho soft from algonot and i take the cystoprotek for the IC and both of us are seeing results. She is doing way better than she was before she started taking it. I believe it's helping her even more than the humira.
Do you take anything for the RA?Diagnosed w/IC 7/18/05
Dx'd w/Endo 5/5/06
CFS
IBS
Current Treatments:
Elmiron-100mg 4x's a day
Atarax-10mg's 2x's a day
IC Diet
Oxycontin 40mg-Only when i can't take it anymore!
Laparoscopy done, Endo lasered, Let's pray it stays away!

Cystoprotek is made by a company called Algonot, you can buy the product from the ICN or directly from Algonot. It's like a supplement, all natural and is supposed to help repair the GAG layer, like elmiron but in an all natural way.
It's about 48 bucks a bottle and could take some time to work. I have seen some positive results with it. Doesn't help everyone but it's worth a shot.Diagnosed w/IC 7/18/05

If you check out the CanLyme website (.com not org) and go to the symptoms page you will see that some of the diseases Lyme mimics are listed. It's a short list considering there are over 300 diseases it mimics and one dr. I think got it right when he said it can mimic any disease and any symptom.
Anyway, in that short list is Raynaud's, IC, and RA. Check it out.
