I have been in a flare for 2 mo. I have just started about two weeks ago to have pain in the abdomen about even with the hip. I have had an hysterectomy but still have overies. I don't want to got to my GP becuse she will say she doesn't know what to do for me. I don't want to go to my Gastro. as he will stick a tube down my throat or worse want to go up the other way. Does anyone else get pain in this area when they are in a flare?
I start Physical Therapy on Tues and I thought maybe I would mention it to her. If it keep us I will tell my uro on April 4th when I have my preop for hydro.

Is it on your left side? I have the same pain if it is there, doctor has done all sorts of tests on me, sent me to the gastro, etc. no one seems to know what it is. It still bothers me. I did mentioned it once to my PT who treated my IC/PFD and she said the pain goes hand in hand. I know that doesn't help much, sorry.

I've had pain on my left side in the kidney region since my IC symptoms began. The uro has done test after test and not found anything but inexplicable inflammation of the kidney. I keep being told that I likely "just passed" a stone. I never see anything in my urine, though and I always have trace amounts of blood in the urine. Aargh!
