  • I'm on the cancellation list!

I called the new rheumatology doctor's office and told them that I had a new patient appt coming up in a few weeks, and explained all my symptoms that have been so bad the last few weeks. She put me on the cancellation list so that if there is a cancellation I can get in to see the doctor sooner. I was going to call my pc doc but I can't handle going round and round with his staff..it's too much for me mentally and physically to play phone tag, get incorrect information, or have them tell me the wrong answer to things yet again....So, I was a good girl and am really trying to get in to see the new doctor ASAP.

I know some of you will be very proud of me...you can write me an atta girl pm this time! You know who you are!
    *IC-- Summer 2004; PFD--October 2005

04/17/09 Crohn's disease almost killed me with a combo of extreme constipation from pain medications. My bowel ruptured, I almost died from peritonitis and spent several days in the ICU then more in a private room on the floor. If you have any questions about severe constipation from pain meds please don't hesitate to send me a message.
